Here on Dry Plains Road in Cooma, our South African heritage merged with our Australian lifestyle; here we found peace!
Come and share in our Phumzile…
We initially built this cozy and restful unit to provide a haven for our South African family and friends to escape from the turmoil and sometimes fear-filled lifestyle of South Africa. We wanted to share the peace and quiet we found here in the NSW Monaro region with our loved ones.
As time passed however, the travellers started coming from all over the world and then from all over Australia to enjoy this peace and quiet.
So, wherever you come from, and wherever you are on your way to, Phumzile welcomes you. We welcome you to share in the beauty, and peace and quiet that we have been gifted with.
“A wonderful peaceful retreat, nestled in Dairyman’s Plains, just a short drive from Cooma, sporting stunning views over local farmland towards the Snowy Mountains.
The convenient location enabled us to fully explore the area from Cooma to the mountains. Our stay included numerous games of golf at the Cooma Golf course (just across the road), hiking, swimming in the Murrumbidgee River and kayaking on Lake Jindabyne.
The accommodation is clean, has all the mod cons and is beautifully appointed. There is plenty of room for all your gear with the convenience of parking close to the entrance.”
